Q: What is a milling extension?

Hello.
I need an extension for my face mill but have concerns over vibration levels and surface finish. Do you do anything that might offer a solution?

Hi Azul

Sandvik do a range of Silent tools, to help reduce vibrations for extended reach face milling. If you could let us know the application, material, finish needed, distance to you need to extend, back end etc...we'll try and help further.
