Thank you for your enquiry. I dont think this is the model that they had on the program you mentioned but it does a similar thing. You have a number of plug's and a remote control and without getting up you can turn off your electrical equipment (fan, lamp, TV etc) without using standby thereby saving electricity and reducing your expense and helping the environment too.
